There is no weight to it compared to its size. It's metal, but it doesn't stick to magnets.
A glossy finish that looks like gold leaf has been layered on top. As soon as I picked up the ink stick, the thread broke and it all fell apart. I only needed the cross. I am satisfied with the price, but the quality is not enough to justify the cost. When I touch it, I'm worried that I might move some kind of metal piece because I don't know what kind of metal it is. It seems good for keeping somewhere as a backup.
